SPEAKER_02Thank you so much for having me.
SPEAKER_03So we met, it's interesting how circles kind of, you know, your circles start to reverberate out and ripple out. So we met through a dear friend of mine and my my assistant Jackie, who was like, you just have to talk to this woman. You're gonna really love her. And so already, and just you know, as many of you know who listen to the show, we uh we start off by kind of like chatting a little bit before we go on it on air, so to say. And I was like, Oh, I can already tell I could talk to you forever. So, you know, really uh thank you for being here. And and what's gotten you to this point in in your journey, Jeanette? Tell us a little bit, share with us a little bit about what your journey to today has been like.
SPEAKER_02Oh so it's funny because we kind of touched on this. I I don't know the pinpoint, right? So time to think about the pinpoint. Um, I can go back to I'll I'll probably go back to my university days right before I was pregnant with my daughter because I find that my daughter um has really I I do have four children, so I'm a birth dueler as well. Um I have four kids. Uh so she just turned 16. I have a 13-year-old, or he will be 13 soon, and then a four and a two-year-old. So we have a we have a busy house. And if I'm to go back to the beginning, I came to uh Frederton to uh study uh what I thought was going to be criminology. I I had actually just planned on, or I had applied, got accepted into flight school actually. So I really wanted to be a pilot. And um unfortunately funding didn't work out. So my backup plan was to become an RCMP or police officer. So I came to St. Thomas to study criminology and within criminology, I had to take this elective, and this elective was philosophy. And I remember taking this and being like, what? Like my mind was blown. I absolutely was infatuated with it. I loved the ancient philosophy, like I could just sit and talk and think and read that stuff for hours. So I quickly then changed direction, probably within my second year, and said, gee, I think really what I should do is follow what I'm good at, which is I'm an artist, so I am a painter, that sort of thing. And I I recognized at an early age that if I could find something that actually uh so like being an art teacher, right? That so that's where I was gearing towards. So I was saying, okay, I'm going to become an art teacher, and then I'll be able to infiltrate some philosophy into the school system. Oh my God.
SPEAKER_03So funny. That's really laughing and you'll understand why in a minute. So good, keep going, please.
SPEAKER_02So so that's where this kind of like stemmed. Well, in the middle of my university, I I had this wild experience that I found out I was pregnant and I was seven months pregnant when I found it out. So yes, I am one of those that um didn't know she was pregnant. So I had nine weeks to have a baby. Wow. I found out, yeah, I found October 23rd, and I thought maybe I was three months pregnant. No, it turns out I was seven months pregnant and she was due on January 6th. And I remember finding out that due date. And I said, you know what? I came home, told my sister, and my sister said, You're gonna have a Christmas baby. And I was like, you know what? I'm actually gonna have the New Year's baby. She's like, What? Why would you want the New Year's baby? I'm like, I don't know. I'm just gonna have the New Year's baby. That's just what's gonna happen. Fast forward, I had the New Year's baby. So that literally would have been the first thing that I let's say manifested, right? This, this, this keyword that's like floating around the world, right? And uh so I find that really interesting. So now um what brought me to, so then, you know, I would have had her as a single mom for the first couple of years. Uh, then um her dad and I reunited, we had our son. Um, that ended in a very traumatic uh, you know, abusive relationship. So I think that's where a lot of the learning came from, especially now reflecting, right? And uh within that, I'm so thankful that we had a soul contract that allowed me to step into my power now because without that hurt, pain, abuse, all of those things that come along with it, I wouldn't be where I am today. So I can definitely say that. I um and then you know, once I released that, I I then met my husband and I had actually already known him. So this is another like timing thing that kind of really comes in and it's really beautiful. And one of the things that him and I we knew each other, but and we always had this like, oh, there's something about you, but nothing ever really went further than that. And then timing had it that it was time for us to to connect. And we knew instantly the the day that we started connecting, we we said this is the most fulfilling conversation that we've ever had, then you know, than he had in his nine-year marriage and me in, you know, any of my past relationships. And so now we've been together 10 years, and um, and then now I'll go, I'll I'll rewind to like the last two years. So now the pin, the pinpoint is that I've now worked, you know, many different businesses managing. Um, I was always, you know, the customer experience expert, you know, that type of thing. Um, you know, the salesperson, the manager, the leader, you know, that sort of thing. And then um I said, when I had my four-year-old, uh I really wanted to really dive deeper into my doula work. And so I did that and I really felt fulfillment. I felt like, wow, I am holding space and serving women in such a different way. And I felt really strong about that because of the traumatic experience that I would have had with my previous birth, 10 years, you know, or eight years prior to that. So I really dove into the birth, birth world, and I I loved every single moment of it. And I thought that when I had my my four-year-old, that I was going to, I wanted to not go back to management. I didn't want to work those hours. I wanted to be present, you know? And and so I said, okay, this is what I'm gonna do. I am going to find I started a network marketing business and I said, I'm going to replace my full-time income with that and with a part-time place where I actually want to work, where I have no pressures, no obligations, an environment that really feels good to me. And one of my dear friends opened up a float center here locally in Fredericton. And so I helped her open that. And that was the beginning of something really beautiful. Um, because she was beginning her entrepreneurship, you know, and you know, we had this, we have a beautiful friendship, and then we also had a doula relationship as well. I was her doula, she was my doula, like just everything aligned beautifully. And she was such a beautiful support system. And when I did that, the year went by, and I guess nine months would have gone by, and I and I had been introduced to uh my now mentor. And it took a lot for me to invest in myself to say, I'm actually gonna do this. And I watched her um just unfold in such an amazing way that and and I felt that connection. And what was happening at the exact same time is that when I started working at this float center, um this guy that was there who is a Reiki uh healer, he said to me one night when we were working, he said, Are you a light worker? And I remember being like, What's a light worker? I had no idea. I had no idea. And I remember like saying, you know, you know, okay, well, what do you mean by that? You know, that sort of thing. Well, he ends up introducing me to uh a healer and my husband. I I gifted him with that for his uh for his birthday. And when I did gift that for him, uh, that's really when I don't know, the glass ceiling just exploded for us. He came back from that session and you know, she had told him that, you know, he was the Vici of healers and he's an ascension healer and he's here to help, you know. So that was a really big moment. We came, we were already into um in practicing meditation, but there was something about this that really exploded for us personally. And the journey that we went on together was we miracles started unfolding around us like everywhere we looked. And um, and then it was like embracing that healer in us, right? I went to that same healer, and then, you know, lo and behold, I find out all kinds of things about my past lives and you know, why I'm here and how I'm supposed to serve and that sort of thing. And so when I met my mentor, I was already in the spiritual journey. And then it just it was it was interesting how that really unfolded because she was in her journey and then found spirituality. I was in spirituality and then found this like thought process and how to like really manipulate matter, you know, that sort of thing. Yeah. And and now here we are into, and this could go on, but this is this is where it began for my daughter. And it really came down to my daughter saying, Hey mom, you want to start a business together?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I love it. I I want to like put a pin in that because we're gonna talk about that a little bit later. Because I definitely wanna um, you know, this is my journey into partnership in 2022, and so I want to understand what it's like partnering with your daughter. It's it's interesting. I was laughing earlier, Jeanette, because our our our journeys are it's funny, the synchronicities when you meet people, right? So I mean, I I I not the same in that like I mean, I got I dropped out of pregnant. I dropped out of pregnant. That's an university. I dropped out of high school when I got pregnant with my youngest son. I was married with two kids by the time I was 18. And uh, but in my 20s, I I ended that what was a very traumatic relationship and um you know worked customer service jobs for a number of years and went, well, hold on, this isn't gonna get me where I want to get to. And so, thanks to a really amazing program through the University of Toronto, I was able to go get into university. And um, and at the time it was the intention of becoming a lawyer. So kind of criminal justice system as well. I'd wanted to be a lawyer from the time I was 12. And um, and when I was starting my undergraduate degree, I was like, well, what am I, you know, what's a good pathway to get into law, right? And I was looking at different areas of study because I didn't really, I just wanted to be a lawyer. I didn't, I hadn't gone to university with a sense of like, what do I want to study at university? I wanted to be a lawyer. And um, so I took an introduction to philosophy course and I fell head over heels in love. It was like the experience of coming home. And um and I it just like it lit up a part of me. Um, you know, and I and I like all of the philosophers, many of them, not all of them, I shouldn't say that's not true. I like many of the philosophers, but I don't think I ever got over the ancient Socratic philosophers. Like I just Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, there's um there's still so much that they were inquiring into, engaged into about the human experience and about human life. And really, you know, I mean, they I get a little tripped up with a lot of people who create content these days because I think there's like this need in a world where we have intellectual property and it's like ownership to say, oh, this is mine and I created this. And and really my belief is it's always giants standing on top of the top of giant, the shoulders of giants, right? So, you know, so Socrates, Plato's, Aristotle owe their debt of gratitude to the pre-Socratics, who owe their gratitude to other people, and and all of us after that in the philosophical traditions of the West, anyway. You know, anyone who's doing kind of any kind of personal development work owes their debt of gratitude to to all of those the philosophers and the other the ones that came before from both East and West. So um I get a little tripped up by that, but I I just fell in love. Like I just I it it was like a part, I guess I said, a part of my soul became ignited in reading those books and studying them and and continue to this day to be able to see the intersections between things that I'm studying now and learning now about manifestation and and all those different things. Um, and and the final thing I'll say about kind of the synchronicity so far is my daughter was due at the beginning of January, and I thought I was having the New Year's baby. I went into labor.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_03I was my second child. I went into labor, you know, like 9:30 on December 31st and thought I was having the New Year's baby, but you know, she's a stubborn one. And I don't know if anyone's seen the movie Soul, where the character doesn't want to come to Earth and be born as she literally hung on until January 3rd. Um so um really neat, just exciting to kind of uh hear in your story elements of of my own journey to get to today echoed. And um that's so beautiful. And isn't it?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and isn't that not the always the way, right?
SPEAKER_03It is. Yeah, I don't I don't believe in accidents. People show up on their journeys when you know when we're ready to take on a neck now that next piece of learning or or understanding or um you know for different reasons. And I love what you said about I I I mean, I'm so grateful to everything that's happened in my life, my family, myself. We've been through a lot of trauma, and and I really do believe that all of that has you know facilitated me being where I am in life today, but I I never would have phrased it as a soul contract. And and so that is new language for me, that like that you, you know, and and I've heard this before, and I and I still am kind of in a in a in an evolving journey of discovery around my belief about past lives and and those kinds of things on a very kind of analytical scientific, you know, view. I could say, well, yeah, we're all energy, everything's energy. We're all made of the same building block. So this you know, compilation of energy that is Amber Howard today, of course, it could have been another being at some point in time. Um, so but I I I do remember Louise Hay in her book, You Can Heal Your Life, talking about we choose our that she believes that we choose our parents. And so, and and because you know, and you I guess you could say we we're creating a soul contract with them to teach us whatever we need to do in this lifetime to elevate ourselves. So um yeah, thank you for the gift of that language and something to really look at things newly.
SPEAKER_02You're so welcome, and you know, it's funny because sometimes we uh we speak in a language and in words that we not that we expect the other people are going to understand, but sometimes you are introducing this new language and this new awareness that that can really just expand a person, you know, on so many ways. And I think that that is the intricate um web that we weave. And it's interesting because growing up as a Catholic, I um my mom, and we'll dive into this and how I how the whole creating malice came about, but I remember at a really young age saying to my mom um that I did believe in past lives and I couldn't understand why she didn't. And it really just felt so um natural to me. It felt so uh it was just kind of like, what? How could you, you know, that sort of thing. And I was really young. I was probably like 11 or 12, like it was young. And um, and so her and I would get into, you know, conversations, and you know, her belief just wasn't there. And and some of the things that just as a Catholic, right, and this is no offense to Catholics, let me just put that as a disclaimer, you know, because we're all where we're at for a reason. But one of the things that she would say is, you know, we would get on the topic about, you know, baptism or or you know, believing in Jesus and being Christian and that sort of thing. And I remember saying to her, mom, do you think that people over in Africa or wherever that have never heard of Jesus before are gonna go to hell because they're not Christian? You know, like that just never resonated with me. Like I just couldn't get over that, you know, her belief would be like that. And so now as I have expanded, it's funny, my daughter, and this is so interesting because um my daughter has been gifted at a really young age, and not that she exposes or talks about these gifts at all, but she she said to me when she was three years old, um, mommy, I remember I I remember choosing you from heaven. That's the first time I heard about choice, like choosing your parents, it was from her. And so that was like, and then that, you know, obviously I would I, you know, reflected back to some of the philosophy. And and I at that time, I I had been um, I had actually became an Anglican because my uh philosophy professors were Anglican priests, and what I absolutely loved about their sermons is that they would relate all of Christianity back to ancient philosophy. And so that really resonated with me. And and you know, we could dive into all kinds of that stuff too, but we won't. But I just remember saying, okay, yeah, you choose your parents. And so she said that to me. And I hadn't even read Louise Hay at that point in my life, because that would have been, you know, 2009, I guess it would have been. And uh, and you know, she she had and then as she got older, she remembered memories that were never talked about before. Uh, you know, at a really like she remembers two-year-old memories that were never talked about, you know, things like that. And and and she knew the day that my grade, she was in grade four at the time, I think she was. And my my grandfather, so her great grandfather had passed away. And um I had to go pick her up at school, which wasn't not normal for me to go pick her up just because um, and I had gone to go pick her up. And I and she said, Mommy, there's like something really exciting happening in school. We're learning about, um, I think they were learning about um like computer data stuff or whatever, coding. That's what it was.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02And and I was like, okay, I'll come get you later. And that's how I did it. Like I wasn't, you know, and she stopped me and she said, Is everything okay? And I said, Yeah, everything's fine. Why? And she said, Is Great Papa okay? He hadn't been spoken about for you know months because he died suddenly. We weren't expecting him to die. Yeah. So you know, your children teach you so much.
SPEAKER_03It's just actually like literally just thinking that you're in the runs for the win. Um I think it's interesting to me sometimes in my, and this has just been from my experience, um, we think of manifestation or some of these things as being more like Eastern in tradition, like a bit, you know, like the spiritual. Um but if we actually look at You know, the foundation of the university, like Plato's body of work, his theory of the afterlife of the cosmos through the myth of Ur that he talks about in The Republic, has, you know, you going to, you know, journeying after your death and going to this massive field and seeing all of the forms that exist in the world and choosing the form of your next life. Right. And then, like, and then going to the river of forgetfulness. And this is, you know, whether whether you agree with Plato's concept of the philosopher kings, those who are best built to serve through leadership and ruling, mostly because they don't want to, which I think is a really fun thing to talk about and play with, you know, maybe for now or another time. But like they go to the river of forgetfulness and then you're consumed with thirst and you forget everything you've known in this life and you're born into your next life in your new forum. And those who have an elevated level of awareness or, you know, can quell that thirst, and then thus get born into their next life, being able to retain some of and it's neat because when I really started to put the pieces together of that with my newer understanding and awareness and things that I've learned over the last five years, it was like Plato believed his theory of knowledge was that all of the knowledge that exists in the universe is present in all of us at any time. But we're not attuned to certain aspects of it, either because we've never learned it or because we've forgotten that we knew it in a in a past time or a past life. And um, and so I just think that it's really fascinating that if you actually really look at it, this very kind of what some people might consider woo-woo, you know, notion of rebirth and afterlife and and and you know, multiple lives and all of that is present, very present in in the Western philosophical tradition as well, as in the Eastern philosophical, you know, you could say that this is a a human, a network of human conversations.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. And I think that was always something that I it was so interesting because in my belief structure and how I kind of you know put the puzzle pieces together of that is, and I always used to call it a spider web. Like I really felt like we're all just this big spider web and all connected, you know, intricately that way. Um, and when I had gone to the healer a couple months after my husband had, and um, and when I went to her, she had told me that I'm a satellite. And that really resonated with me because, and you know, she said, you're a satellite, you're a 5D leader, you're supposed, you know, you, you know, one of your main guides has been waiting for you to wake up, basically. And and it was like, whoa, at the time I had no idea. Now reflecting back on it two years later, oh, I get it now. I get it. Like my level of awareness in waking up has been um, you know, astronomical compared to, and and again, I would go back to those early days of studying and think, I really know. I remember reading The Secret in 2006, you know, I remember being so fascinated about it, right?
SPEAKER_03And uh, you want to know a secret? I've still never read The Secret. Really? You would look back at the time. I watched the movie and I've read lots of, I mean, James Allen, like so many different books, and and you know, through the work that I've done, I've just never read that particular book. I think I might have a copy of it on my bookshelf. I've just never read it.
SPEAKER_01I love it. I love it.
SPEAKER_03I'm getting into publicly as someone in the world of personal transformation when everyone else has read the secret, and I'm like, nope, I haven't read it.
SPEAKER_01It's all good, you know, it just isn't part of your journey.
SPEAKER_03Well, and it might be, and you know, it's funny, you talk about when you were talking earlier about, you know, your the conversations you had early on. So I was raised in not a Catholic home, but a Christian home, evangelical Christian. And and I remember at different parts of my journey, you know, I got baptized when I was 14, and and I remember going to the elders of my church and going to my mom and asking questions and saying, like, really, I mean, I see it differently now in the rear view mirror of my life. Like people were just being human, and I had it that they were being hypocritical, but there was a disconnect for me in the way that people spoke about the faith and the religion. Well, I want to say faith, the tenets of the Bible, and the way that I saw members of the community behaving and the adults around me behaving and treating one another. And I couldn't reconcile those. And I also couldn't reconcile for myself at the time the way the Bible spoke about or had been interpreted as it relates to women. And and I asked questions about these things and I didn't get good answers, and so I laughed. And and I had nothing like I really kind of like, well, you know, the elder's daughter gets pregnant at 16 out of wedlock. You know, you can't get much bigger FU to God and rest of it, right? Um, and it was actually philosophy that gave me my spirituality back. Yeah. Because when I left the church and stopped participating in organized religion, there was a part of me that still, you know, you're yearned, especially the music, worship music, you know, in my church communities, it was very lively. Worship music was very lively, and and I missed that kind of music. I missed that kind of celebratory nature. I missed some of the experiences I had in that community. And but I didn't want to be part of what I can say now was what I feel is the shaming of people and the way people are shamed through some some tenets or some ways organized religions operate. And um, and I I'm with you. I 100% I mean, I remember saying, and I've said to my mom, you know, both my parents are Christians in different places in their journey. But I remember saying to my mom, um, like, why would other cultures view God? Like it made it, it makes total sense to me that if there is a God, you know, a similar force, uh who knows if there is, that it would interpret itself or reveal itself to different cultures in different ways because we're so different. And to me, you know, it's on my shirt right now. My my God is love, right? Like, really, like to me, it really comes down to that. But it was studying the Enlightenment period and and you know, after during that period of human history when en masse humanity started saying we don't want to participate in organized structures, whether it was government, education, religion, that this conversation around natural religion evolved, that you can look out into nature and see a hand at work, that you can see synchronicities, you can see the balance of things. And, you know, I would call them now the laws of nature from the studying that I've done, you know, through Bob Proctor's work and studying some of those texts. Um, but that actually gave me access to my spirituality back that I could, oh, hold on, because and it's through, and my mom and I have talked about this, and I love her, and I don't hold her anything against her about it, because she was just doing what a loving parent would do, which is passing their belief system on to her children. And that's what we do as parents, either consciously or sub uh, you know, subconsciously, um, unconsciously, we pass our beliefs on to our children. And for her, like and and in dread's response to her journey of trauma, you know, when she came to God in faith, it it saved her on a very real level from some very hellish experiences in life and gave her, you know, I've I think I've shared this on the show before. My mom would sit us down to the dinner table as small children in New Zealand with no food. And she would have prayed that God would feed us. And she had the faith. Can you imagine as a mother having the faith to sit your children down at a dinner table with nothing to feed them and know that you're gonna get taken care of? And I'm moved by that faith right now, actually. Wow. Yeah, that's you know, and there'd be a knock on the door and a neighbor would show up and they would say, We weighed an extra casserole and we were thinking about you, you know. So for my mom, yeah, so real, so tangible. And so, of course, she's gonna teach me based on her beliefs and her tenets that the way to that the way to life, the way to, you know, to God, to spirituality is through the Bible. And for my mom, it was a living document. So it wasn't like some book that was written all this time ago. It was like the words of the Bible were as real today and you know as they have ever been. And so um, yeah, I'm thank you for presencing me today, and you know, I just like, you know, again, another kind of synchronicity in our journeys is that leaving of an organized religion to kind of come back and discover spirituality in a new way.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I really love what you said too, just about, you know, she had the faith. And if you think about what we've learned from Bob Proctor's teachings and things like that, is that ultimately that manifestation, you know, you need to hold the vision and have the faith, right? And so much of us um as a collective have lost faith. We've lost faith in humanity and that sort of thing, you know. So it's really just about um, you know, reintroducing how how that might look for people now so that they can get a better understanding and maybe start reliving and be introduced back into their spirituality. And it doesn't have to be with an organized religion. And I think that was part of the reason um I really felt connected to what, you know, I was doing with Malas and everything is that, you know, I wanted it to be a universal um tool. And I didn't want it to be held to any specific religion. Now that being said, you know, obviously some religions I don't want it, you know, um, if somebody wants me to make them a rosary, I would. But like it's about finding your spirituality and the way in which I believe we find our way back to spirituality is through meditation. And that was like one of the big things that happened for me um just through my doula work um and and and being taught the like the mindfulness and the power of the five minutes and reprogramming your your neuropathways. And now, you know, science is finally catching up, you know, to what spirituality already knew. And I I love that because when I was in my um in my program with with my mentor, that that's what actually what happened is that we were already meditating um for a while at this point. And um my husband and I were actually sitting down to meditate, which we do, you know, like we'll whatever that looks like, right? But we're we're sitting on opposite sides of the couch together. And at this point, his gifts um he he very quickly um was receiving uh like messages, like channeled messages and and connecting with spirit and validating um you know the spirits that that had passed. Um, but then also just other higher levels of consciousness is the best way to put it. And you know, he certainly hasn't come rid of the closet and talked about that openly yet.
SPEAKER_01So I'm just gonna like put them out there on social media. But uh one of the things that um here, just a little nudge. Every little nudge.
SPEAKER_02And I mean, so this would have happened over a well, two years ago, I guess now. And and um, so when we were sitting down to meditate, what had happened was this, you know, he'd already been experiencing this for a while. And um, after our meditation, he he he says, you know, we always say, like, how is that meditation? Like, was that a big one? Because sometimes, you know, really big messages come through, and sometimes it's just the it's just the event of detachment, right? And uh I was like, actually, it was a really big one for me. And he said, Really, me too. And he said, Tell me about yours. And they said, No, you tell me first. And I'll tell you what mine was. With mine, um I had already started this crystal business with my daughter. And what came to me is that during um, like in this mentorship, a lot of the people that are entering into this manifestation world and trying to understand how to bring, you know, the money into their physical, right? Um, the key to it obviously is that like meditation piece. And no one has the tools because our brains are so like fidgety. Um, so a mala, that was the whole reason for a mala, is to help you focus, you know, that attention focus. And uh so in my meditation in my third eye, what came to me, what formed was a cluster of crystals. And um, you know, nine months prior to that, the healer had said to me, you need to charge and energize crystals because you know, crystals hold energy and you have a power inside of you that is going to help heal people.
SPEAKER_03And I was like, Oh, okay, you know, and then um It's funny, like at different parts on our journey that like, you know, the limits to we talk about them in another course I'm doing, like the limits to our participation, right? And like, so it's like we get to like some people will say things and they're like, ah, I'm not quite there yet.
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Okay, let me try it out, let me like hang out with that a little bit. I, you know.
SPEAKER_02Right. That was that was what happened at that moment. And um, so what formed was this like this cluster of crystals and um and then Amala. And so then I said to my husband, so what was I didn't tell him, and I said, What was your meditation? He said, So my mom has she passed away two years ago. And um at this point, I have already experienced my mom, um, my mom's energy come to me. Uh, I think it was twice at that point. And he said, Your mom came to me and she told me that you should start making rosaries. And I was like, What? And um, so to revert back to that, if you knew my mother, my mother um always had plastic beads and was making rosaries all the time and sending them to third world countries. So when I was nine, um, I started making rosaries with her. She taught me how to make rosaries, and I actually started a club for my friends called the Legion of Mary. And we would sit there and we would pray together and we would make rosaries. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it's so good. I love it. And it's interesting because I mean what I was like preparing for the interview, I was looking at your website and looking at the mala is I used to make jewelry and I was like, oh, I can make my own mala. Like I thought, like I had actually finally just before the holidays, put all of my beads in our storage locker. I have a lot of crystals and semi-precious stones and stuff. But what's funny is, and it's sitting here at my desk and um is a rosary. And and I hold on to it sometimes because it's very grounding. And the reason I have a rosary, I never would have like, you know, in the hierarchy of religions, and and I and I like Catholicism was probably one of the religions that I was least interested in participating in for lots of various different reasons. But I uh did a book club last year. We're actually about to kick off another book club next week. We're gonna be reading Man's Search for Meaning. If anyone wants to join in who listens to the show, this will the show will drop next Wednesday, but you know, the club starts Wednesday night. But you know, you can always join a little late for anyone listening. I'll put the link to the Facebook group in the show notes for people who want to join us. Man's Search for Meaning by Victory Frankel is considered one of the you know the most spiritual and and and significant texts in our lives. So um I'm excited to embark on that journey with other people. Uh I might have to join you. Yeah, it's gonna be great. But so the first book club was based on a book called Evolutionary Love Relationships, which just transformed my uh way of looking at being in a love love relationships. And and um and one of I interviewed both authors of the show on on the podcast, or the book on the podcast, Chris Hart, Chris Sade and Andrew Harvey. And in my interview with Andrew Harvey, who is like a yogi and you know, like he's so much more, uh he he offered me that the prayer of the rosary is a pathway to the feminine. Yeah. And the and he shared with me about the the book, The Way of the Sacred Rose. And he said, you know, I invite you to take on the prayer of the rosary as an access to discovering the divine feminine. And I, you know, given my like past-based listening of of Catholicism, I would like, you you want me to access the feminine through one of the most you know, paternalistic, patriarchal, patriarchy, masculine religions in the world. Okay, buddy, sure, whatever. But you know, I'm like being open, right? And so I bought I bought myself a rosary, and uh, you know, I haven't finished the book yet, but I started reading it and I was like, wow, like there, um the the symbol of symbolism of the rosary itself is like the the you know the universal kind of symbol for the feminine, right? So yeah, I'm uh I may have to make my own mala. That thank you for that inspiration because I have tried meditating and I do like my uh my partner Peter is like he jokes all the time, like my mind is like never stops. Like it amazes me human beings who don't like when I ask them what are you thinking about, they're like, I'm not like I'm not thinking about anything. I'm like, what are you talking about? Like, what do you mean you're not thinking about? Because my mind is like always going. Yeah, and not in a bad way, it's just that's always there's always something that's being engaged with, right? And so I found meditation frustrating at times because uh even when I've tried to like just let the thoughts flow and go, like so I, you know, I hadn't seen either the rosary um or a mala as a tool for for you know trying that. So thank you for that. Because I, you know, if anyone listening, I invite you to, you know, if you've wanted to try meditation on and uh, you know, maybe you don't know how to make your own mala because you don't have that experience. Jeanette's got beautiful malas on her site. Her and her daughter create beautiful, beautiful um products for you to use and well, more than a product, but you know, tools for you to use in your meditation practices. So you'll definitely be able to find out all about that in the show notes and access their beautiful site.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02That was something that when we did uh so when that meditation um evolved, like when that evolved for me, we talked about earlier about um like connecting business to spirituality. And I can honestly say that my last uh especially well, my last two years of um embarking on this entrepreneur, you know, world, uh all of my intern, all of my guidance business wise has come from intuitive, intuitive hits, right? None of them have been like taught or structured or whatever. And um, and so that would have been one of them. And the intuitive hit that came to me after that, so that was like the beginning. And and what came to me about that, naturally what was happening is that I understood from having my crystal Reiki masters that every crystal holds a different um property. And you probably know this from your precious gemstones and stuff like that. And and what we're doing is we're really just um we're we're taking all of this knowledge from our ancestors, you know, they've been using this for thousands and thousands of years, and whether or not you believe in a time before, you know, the Atlantis and all of that. But if you open your world to that, you know, um their way of energy was through crystals and copper. And so they understood uh an energetic wave that we're not even there yet. I think we're getting there, but you know, again, that's controversial because you know, who believes in Atlantis?
SPEAKER_03So what came to me was I would tell you my children do, but only because probably one of their favorite Disney movies.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and it's and you know what what we would say in this world is that like all there are so people in this woo-woo world, they'll tell you that everybody that incarnated right now, the mass majority have lived past lives in Atlantis or ancient Egypt. And that's because we are just we are stepping into such a global um level of growth, the bridge of incidents is unfolding right now, and and just things are gonna be beautiful if we so choose to like get into that, which is why I'm doing what I'm doing because um so each crystal holds these properties. And one of the things that if you look at, you know, just going to look for or shop for a mallet, you know, you'll look at just like a painting, you'll look at one and say, Oh, that resonates with me. Well, what I was doing is that I didn't want to just create a bunch of inventory for people to choose from. I wanted people to come to me and say, Hey, this is what's going on in my life. And then I get to choose what crystals will resonate with helping them elevate their spiritual level. Because part of what my husband does in his ascension healing is that we all need energetically in order to um. kind of break that glass ceiling is that we need to evolve. Um, we need to ascend. And that's what our souls are doing during this life experience is we are ascending with opening up our awareness. And so he does that through healing, not through just like psychic mediumship. It's a combination, right? So he's moving lots of energy and and giving this knowledge that isn't from him, it's from source, right? So it that knowledge in and of itself during an intuitive reading and healing session with him is is basically expanding your awareness. And then it's up to you to actually take that, right? So then what my take on that for my artistry is that when somebody has something like they come to me and maybe they like I made a mallet for a man that um suffered from a stroke, you know? So what do I do? I take all of the crystals that are going to help him with you know the brain function and you know all of those things and I put it together in a mallet. And this is what really hit home for me a couple months ago Amber is that I was at a low point and I'll say low um but that's really only describing something on the outside uh like money wise, let's say in my business. And I took this leap of faith that really, really felt intuitively that I needed to take. And from the outside world someone would have said you're crazy, don't do that. You have a family to feed right a couple of those leaps yeah right and so so I took this leap and on it I met this woman who her soul's calling is to channel your soul's calling. And when she channels your soul's calling um it helps you I mean it just helps you right and so I felt really intuitively that I really needed to take this. So I took this big massive leap of faith and when she channeled my soul um it spoke to me on a way that I can't even describe and basically the information that she gave me she didn't know what I did because she didn't like she she didn't have like my full information to be able to go and research me. Right. And uh and so as she started to um channel my soul the first thing she she did is she's like I'm not even channeling right now and she's like my hands are on fire. She's like you must do something with your hands and I was like right not giving you anything and then she said and then she got into it and she was just like you have this big ball of pure love and light that you hold within your hands and the light that you hold within your hands is energizing to whatever it is that you create. You create things with your hands and within that creation of of what you are creating you then offer this to people so that they can help them heal their hearts help them heal their fragmented auras and bring them back to wholeness and whatever it is that you're creating she said it's and she was like you know her eyes are closed at this point because she's like and she's like it's like you whatever you give them you put like they put it on over their head and they wear it and it it literally just sits on their heart and that that energy is what starts healing them energetically. And I was just like what so that was really powerful for me because that really solidified and I remember after that because I'm sure a lot of Reiki um masters on here like if they're listening would say well no that's source energy like that's not your energy Jeanette that's source energy. But here's the thing and I said that to her because I wanted to you know just not debate it but it's not mine. I don't want to take ownership on that right and she said no it's yours. And she said this is why not every single person incarnates here to do what you do. So your gift to the world is an extension of source absolutely but not everybody does that. And that really resonated with me because what had been happening with um within my doula work is that I started doing energy work on my doula clients and intentional energy work where I would you know connect with my guides and and and give healing and nine out of 10 women that I did that to had well some of them were on the verge of being into a C-section and um they all ended up with having a vaginal birth with no tearing. And the only one client that had it um I got to her when she was already crowning. So I hadn't really done any energy work on her until afterwards. But she had said and I had said this to her, you know, and she she's the one that said to me the only reason your healing didn't work on me is because you got to me too late. And so I did energy work on her and and she did have very like you know tearing baby came very quickly she breathed baby radio and uh she said that her healing was like phenomenally quick. And so like what do you say to that? You know I had this dad say you know they're from Australia and uh we're like you know the what do you call that like the 11th hour like we're literally down to like we're gonna have to have baby have a C-section because she was stalled at seven centimeters. And I had said do you want me to do my energy work? And you know she was like do whatever you need to do. And so I did it and the dad said he's like I don't know what you did with your woo-woo hands but whatever it was he's like I can't I can't I can't deny that I want to my logical mind wants to deny this but all I can say is and he was you know and um it's interesting because you bring up the divine feminine and connect into the divine feminine and I think that's absolutely why it resonates so much with birth as well. That client she had said to me Jeanette this is gonna sound really weird she said but when you were doing that energy work and baby was coming down she was like it was euphoric. She's like I I again it sounds weird but it was like orgasmic. Does that sound right and I said to her yeah actually thankfully I I have already known and dove into that it was like that is a transformative experience in terms of you know giving birth to a child should be and can be euphoric if you open yourself up to it, you know?
SPEAKER_03It's so funny like in and we're you know this is definitely be a conversation for another time but like our limited perspectives on pleasure right and we associate what's pleasurable with sexual and then it's like there are places where pleasure is like you know I have a really good friend of mine Beth who was also a guest on the show does a lot of work in this space and it's just so interesting to me how it's like you know our our I really do believe that our beliefs form our experience of life. So if you believe that and I did and all of my labors were challenging and difficult because I believed that labor was going to be hard and difficult and and they were right so it's like you believe right um when you're talking about crystals having you know being imbued with energy I was reminded so I'm from New Zealand originally Jeanette and you know the Maori people of New Zealand one of the the the the stones that's very important to them and you know used in tools and ceremonies and and for for for um for to make beautiful jewelry is what they call punamu or a type of jade that you can only find in New Zealand in the you know in English it's called greenstone. And one of the things that they talk about is like before you give a piece of punamu jewelry or a piece of punamu to another loved one as a gift, you're supposed to wear it your oils or your energy you know they they were you know you could talk about your oils your energy gets absorbed into the greenstone and to the punamu and then that gets passed on from generation you know these artifacts these these this jewelry would get passed on from generation to generation so you're literally imbuing the the punamu and the jewelry with the energy of of your ancestors.
SPEAKER_02Wow yeah and I I can a hundred percent resonate with that I absolutely feel that because I remember um you know when I started when I when I dove into this whole crystal world you know um one of the things that they say and you you know it went for the the children wearing the amber necklaces right and it was just so mainstream but there was there's something to that and that's because amber when and all crystals when it's against your skin it your skin is a largest organ you know so what does it do? It it it goes into your skin and those healing properties are what takes pain away you know so that's where that amber necklace comes from it's interesting.
SPEAKER_03Yeah I had uh I never actually looked up what the the the properties were of green stone but it's uh gentle soothing energies that are meant to bring tranquility into a person's life and it's believed to be a magical crystal that boots boosts longevity making it the ideal gift for loved ones to symbolize their friendship.
SPEAKER_02Oh that's beautiful and green also is a representation of our heart too so like that heart chakra yeah beautiful oh Jeanette this has been delightful I again I wasn't mistaken when I said I could talk to you forever.
SPEAKER_03Thank you so much. You know I just really want to acknowledge you for being someone you know one of my big commitments and I say this probably almost every week on the show because I'm really committed that people get it one of my big commitments is that people get to live a created life of their own design based on what they authentically want. And it takes people having the courage to be out there in life doing that taking actions that might seem crazy from someone else's map of the world taking actions that even your loved ones sometimes might think are crazy or irresponsible or whatever but it takes a lot of courage to really be living an authentic life of your own design. So just thank you for being someone who's out there doing that. And while you're doing that being someone who's really committed to bringing people to wholeness um you know I'm reminded of my daughter who Kayla's 25 now many years ago she had the idea you know shelterlessness is something that's really important to me and to my family and and like just like the shelterless people be seen you know most people won't even look at shelterless people and it just breaks my heart because like we all need to be acknowledged and seen as human beings. And so Kayla had this idea to create this like center where people would come and it wouldn't just be like short term like you know like a night stay in a crisis center or something like that where people could come and get their life back together right so they'd do some development work they'd get their ID back they'd be able to get a job like they'd be able to find housing permanent housing and um she said mom I think uh you know and for her part of the journey for people coming to stay in this facility would be or this center would be that people would become be able to get whole again. And she said you know I think you should leave this center mom because I don't know anyone who's as good as you are at helping people get whole and just you know from my heart to yours thank you we need an army you know we need an army of human beings out there in the world doing this work. So just thank you for being a partner I didn't know I had in the world who's committed to having people you know have the experience and get to journey through life whole and um I look forward to whatever else unfolds from our meeting and and you know there are no accidents Jeanette. So thank you for the show thank you for sharing yourself with us and uh thank you yeah so a blessed I appreciate it for anyone listening to this amazing conversation you can find out anything that you need to know and how to connect with Jeanette in the show notes and and again we have the opportunity of the book club coming please join us I think it's going to be a really great I don't know what's gonna unfold but we're gonna discover the last the first book club I ran uh you know was really extraordinary in terms of looking at relationships. So uh please join us and have a great week.
